Dirk Niepoort's passion for Mosel wines and his queen variety, Riesling, has long been known. As it could not be otherwise, which sooner or later, we thought it would be inevitable, Dirk headed to Mosel to make his wines. But, he ended up not entering this adventure alone, joining his firstborns Daniel and Phillip Kettern, from the Lothar Kettern house, thus creating Fio Wines. The motto was set, and it was not long before the wines of this collaboration appeared, Ratzelhaft, Falkerberg, Cabisehrnett and finally the top of the range FIO. As Dirk's prerogative, we find here very fine, expressive and delicate Rieslings, with an internship in German fuders.
