Quinta do Carvalhão Torto Reserva white, is produced from the Encruzado grape variety, in a limited and numbered production of 2860 bottles. It presents a citrus colour with golden nuances. The delicate aromas of fresh fruit, reminiscent of pear, apple and citrus, combined with the mineral profile of this variety, so typical of the Dão.
The Quinta do Carvalhão Torto is located in Nelas, the geographical centre of the Dão Demarcated Region, its history is indelibly linked to wine production, being owned by a family ancestrally linked to the precious nectar, heirs of this "know-how". Its 7 hectare vineyards, with an average age of 40 years-old, are planted at an average altitude of 450 metres on granite-quartz soils. The constant search for typicity, authenticity and the sustainable maintenance of the vineyards make these wines as interesting as they are surprising.
