The Trufa Negra is a wine produced with grapes from two plots of vines located in the sub-region of Cima Corgo. The first one is located in Valença do Douro, it is an old vineyard over 70 years old, with a blend of 30 autochthonous grape varieties. The second is located in Foz do Rio Távora and is about 30 years old, where the predominant grape varieties are Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
It has a concentrated aroma, with notes of black fruit and spices. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, complex, and with intense and well-integrated tannins, which give the wine a long and fresh finish.
