Description

The G. D. Vajra Ravera Barolo organic red comes from the most emblematic vineyard in Novello, where Tortonian marls blend with Serravallian sandstones and clays, creating a highly complex terroir. The parcels lie within the southern amphitheatre, between 300 and 380 metres above sea level.

Produced from the Nebbiolo grape, it is aged for 26 months in large Slavonian oak casks. The aroma reveals a vibrant ensemble of red fruits, white pepper, blackberry, cedar and saline nuances. On the palate it is generous and expressive, with notes of wild berries, blackcurrant and crushed stone, showing depth, mineral tension and great presence.
