Work from the beginning always focused on finding old vineyards in the most genuine and least explored places in the Douro, where there were new stories to count in the shape of wine. It was in Serra do Reboredo (1,000 meters altitude), in Paredes da Beira, at the highest point of the Douro, that everything began. Surrounded by an abundance of granite outcrops, the area has arenite granite soils interspersed with quartz reefs, altitude between 700 and 1,000 meters, lies on the slopes of the River Távora and has an enviable heritage of centuries-old vines, untouchable over time and held by the hands over years of hard work for many generations. This results in wines of great freshness, character and identity! The bet will always be to enhance the best that the vineyard gives, respecting its history, tradition and the essence of its people.
