2020 Madre de Água Terras white
Description
The harmony between the grape varieties Encruzado, Gouveio and Bical gives this wine exuberant aromas of elderflower, pineapple, peach. In the mouth it is fleshy and well structured, favouring a fruity, citrusy profile and vibrant acidity allied to its altitude, Dão Serrano.
The Quinta Madre de Água is located at the foot of Serra da Estrela and was inaugurated in 2007, with the couple Luís and Lurdes returning to their origins, through a sustained project that respects nature, man, arts and traditions.
With about 16 hectares of vineyard, whose average age is around 40 years old, the Quinta produces a varied range of blend and single-varietal wines. In addition to the vineyard, there is also olive-growing, fruit-growing, cheese-production and a boutique hotel with restaurant, covering a total area of 60 hectares.
