This wine, produced from the Síria grape variety, whose grapes come from vineyards planted at an altitude of 750 metres, is aged in used French oak barrels for 8 months. It reveals citrus aromas with hints of mint, well harmonized with the fine smoky notes.
The Quinta da Biaia dates back to the 17th century and belonged to Dona Beatriz de Sousa Lopes.
Located in Beira Interior in Castelo Rodrigo, it has about 29 hectares of vineyard at altitude and is dedicated to the organic production of wines.
