Description
Alento Reserva red comes from schist soils and is made from Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah. The grapes are hand-harvested, fully destemmed and undergo a two-day cold pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with temperature control at 26/27°C, preserving fruit purity. The wine is aged for one year in French oak barrels, with an approach centred on structure, balance and the integration of oak.
Founded in 2004, Adega do Monte Branco is dedicated to the production of authentic wines from Portuguese grape varieties, with a deep respect for Nature. Located in Estremoz at around 400 metres of altitude, the estate benefits from a unique microclimate shaped by diverse soils and moderate temperatures. Its 26 hectares of vineyards form the foundation of balanced wines with character and a clear Alentejo identity.
