Description

The Kompassus Blanc de Noirs is a brut nature sparkling wine from Bairrada produced from Baga grapes sourced from old vines and Pinot Noir. Crafted according to the traditional method with bottle fermentation, it reveals fine and elegant bubbles accompanied by notes of dried fruits, toasted bread and baked apple. On the palate, it stands out for its remarkable freshness, creaminess and persistence, resulting in a sophisticated and harmonious profile.

João Póvoa began producing wines in 1991 with the brand Quinta de Baixo, being the first individual producer of reference in the municipality of Cantanhede.

In 2005, the company Kompassus was created, whose philosophy of wine production is based on family roots and traditions.

Currently, João Póvoa continues to dedicate himself to the production of wines of excellence sustained by minimal intervention production methods and viticultural practices.
