Description

Complex and pure aroma, with ripe red fruit, plum, blackberry and sour cherry. The palate is intense, deep and fresh, the tannins elegant and smooth, with notes of white pepper and hints of menthol. A sublime and enveloping wine.

Herdade do Sobroso has about 1600 hectares and is located in the Alentejo municipality of Vidigueira. Bordered by the Serra do Mendro to the north, by the Guadiana River to the east and in the south by the enormous plain that stretches as far as the eye can see, it is possible to find an excellent geographical harmony that is based on the richness of its lands.

Herdade do Sobroso is characterized by having clay and sandy soils, betting on the implantation of vineyards according to criteria that aim to produce grapes of high quality. In terms of climate, this region is known for its cold winters, followed by long, hot summers.
