The Peripécia Arinto Grande Reserva white is a wine of excellence, the result of a meticulous process and precise care. After destemming and gentle pressing, the must was cooled to 10ºC and transferred to 500-litre French oak barrels, where it fermented and aged on fine lees for 18 months, with periodic batonnages that intensify its complexity and texture.
This Grande Reserva displays an intense floral aroma, with notes that evoke roses and tropical fruits. On the palate, it reveals an unusual flavour, with a refreshing, well-integrated acidity that authentically reflects the Arinto grape variety. With a balanced body and a long finish, this wine stands out for its elegance and distinctive character, ideal for those looking for a white wine with depth and sophistication.
The Quinta do Cerrado da Porta was acquired by its current owners in 1996. A property that initially had around 3 hectares and was in a very poor state of repair, it is now the family home and wine farm with 17 hectares, of which 14 ha are occupied by vineyards.
