Description

Vidigal Wines is a family-owned company that produces still and fortified wines, located in the region of Leiria, in central Portugal.

Founded in the early 20th century, the company had several owners until the current Director, António Mendes Lopes, took over in the 1990s. Since then, Vidigal has undergone significant changes and technological advances, allowing it to produce approximately 3 million bottles per year. With an export rate of around 90%, Vidigal is one of the most internationalized wineries in Portugal, selling about 40 wines in over 30 countries.
