Description

This Quinta do Passadouro Vintage Port has a deep colour and was produced with the Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Francisca and Sousão grape varieties. With elegantly concentrated aromas, it combines black fruits with spicy notes, some freshness and intense floral characteristics. On the palate, it is smooth and well balanced with fine tannins and excellent acidity. The finish is long with flavours of dark chocolate.

Quinta do Passadouro is located in the world-renowned Douro Valley, on the left bank of the river Pinhão.

Over the last few years, major investments have been made to modernise the vineyards and to install modern equipment to produce high-quality still wines. The Port wines, however, still come entirely from the foot treading method in the traditional granite lagares.

Currently, Quinta do Passadouro is being managed by Quinta do Noval.
