Description

Produced from two of the Dão region's emblematic grape varieties, Encruzado and Malvasia Fina, this Quinta do Sobral Reserva white aged for around 6 months in French oak barrels, favouring the aromas of the grape varieties and revealing the mineral and enveloping profile.

Quinta do Sobral, a family project by Cristina Simões and Jorge Loureiro, is located in the heart of the Dão Wine Region in Vila de Santar, a historical heritage of the region. Here, the tradition of planting vines in poor granite soils amidst pine forests is maintained, as well as the cultivation of traditional grape varieties that define the wines of this estate, which comprises around 15 hectares of vineyards.
