2022 Real Companhia Velha Séries Samarrinho white

Real Companhia Velha Séries Samarrinho is a distinctive white wine made from an indigenous grape variety rediscovered in the old vineyards of the Alto Douro, which gave rise to the world’s first wine made from this variety in 2013.

Fermented and aged for six months in stainless steel, it preserves the variety’s character, revealing delicate white fruit notes, subtle mineral nuances and vibrant acidity. Harmonious and elegant, it combines intensity with delicacy, excellent palate weight and a striking mineral character, while offering remarkable ageing potential in bottle.

Real Companhia Velha is the oldest and most emblematic wine company in Portugal, having more than 258 years of existence and uninterrupted activity in the service of Port Wine.
