Description
VIK Millahue red is a prestigious Chilean wine from the Millahue Valley in Cachapoal. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it reflects the character of the region’s terroir, defined by deep decomposed granitic soils and a temperate Mediterranean climate with marine influence. The wine is aged for 20 months in French oak barrels followed by 6 months in “Barroir” barrels.
The nose is expressive and pure, showing notes of ripe red fruit along with subtle mineral and spicy nuances. On the palate, it displays an elegant and precise structure, with fine, silky tannins and balanced acidity that adds freshness and energy. The finish is long and refined, revealing a complex wine with excellent ageing potential.
