2023 Inóspito Rabigato white
Description
The Inóspito Rabigato white originates from a vineyard located at 350 metres above sea level, on clay and schist soils, near the Tua River. The spontaneous fermentation, carried out with indigenous yeasts, takes place in new and used French oak barrels from the Bertrange forest, where the wine ages for 10 months on total lees. The result is a wine that expresses the minerality, smoothness, acidity, and freshness of its unique terroir.
Geographic Wines is a project by Daniela Matias and Nuno Morais Vaz, aiming to create wines that showcase the authentic characteristics of the grape varieties and the terroirs from which they originate.
