Trans-Douro-Express Douro Oriental red is produced from old vines grown on schist soils, with fermentation and ageing for 8 months in concrete tanks. It reflects the intensity and structure of the hotter eastern Douro.
It shows a deep ruby colour and enveloping aromas of ripe fruits such as fig, plum and quince. On the palate, it is robust and firm, with good concentration and a structured, intense profile.
