XXVI Talhas Mestre Daniel tinto pays tribute to the ancient tradition of wine made in clay amphorae, a practice deeply rooted in Vila Alva, in the heart of the Alentejo. Produced according to traditional methods, it celebrates the winemaking knowledge passed down through generations and the distinctive identity of this historic winemaking technique.

Around Saint Martin’s Day, the finest amphorae are selected, in which the wine remains until February or March of the following year, with approximately five to six months of skin contact. It is only then bottled, preserving an expression shaped by the extended contact with the skins and the character of amphora winemaking.

Complex and gastronomic, it reveals a distinctive identity and a strong connection to the winemaking traditions of Vila Alva.
