Description

Equinócio is an organic white wine produced from a blend of 14 different grape varieties from a very old vineyard in the parish of Reguengo da Serra de S. Mamede. This vineyard, planted on granite soils, has an exposure to the east and is situated at an altitude of 598 metres. The wine was produced by natural fermentation and aged for 15 months in used barrels.

João Afonso was the driving force behind this family project, which aims to unite Nature and Man once again, reducing the pressure of humanity on ecosystems. To this end, the "Slow Wine" concept emerged, which not only allows one to obtain the best that Nature provides for wines but also respects its evolution as a living organism.

These are wines to be enjoyed with time, by giving them time.
