2024 XXVI Talhas Tareco white
Description
The XXVI Talhas Tareco white is a handmade wine that honours the ancient tradition of clay pots. Produced with total destemming and light crushing, it ferments with prolonged maceration and remains in contact with the dough for two months, without temperature control, using only indigenous yeasts. The process is completely natural, with no filtration or mechanical stabilisation, and the liquid is delicately filtered by the pasta present in the carving.
With a bright citrus colour, it stands out for its vibrant aromas of tropical fruit, with hints of pineapple in syrup and excellent minerality. On the palate, it is dry and perfectly matches the aromas, revealing balance and freshness. Made from the Antão Vaz, Perrum and Roupeiro grape varieties, this wine is an authentic and genuine expression of the Alentejo and its winemaking traditions.
