Bastardinho de Azeitão José Maria da Fonseca Apothéose 50cl

This rare and unique liqueur wine comes from the Bastardinho (Trousseau) vineyards planted between Lavradio and Caparica. The last harvest, in 1983, came from a century-old vineyard, with a must of 18% alcohol.

During the preparation of Bastardinho de Azeitão 40 anos, half a barrel was found with 20 litres of a wine of exceptional quality and age, which represents the pinnacle of this unrepeatable nectar, with around 100 years of ageing in casks and history.

Of a very dark golden colour, with nuances of red and hints of green, this wine surprises with its complex aroma, with notes of coffee, caramel and dried fruit, revealing a softness and elegance that is hard to describe. On the palate, it stands out for its unusual, perfectly balanced acidity, which enriches the palate with an extraordinary fruity intensity.
