Description
The Bunnahabhain distillery is located on the peaceful north-east coast of Islay, south of the Hebridean Islands. Built in 1881, its name comes from the Gaelic Bunnahabhain (Bu-na-ha-venn), meaning "mouth of the river", thus becoming a reference to the Margadale, the clear water river where this famous whisky is distilled.
