Description

In 1945, when World War II ended, Monty Collins, a Commander in the British Air Force, was posted to Berlin to help recover from the violent bombing the city had suffered during the war. To symbolise his devotion to the cause, Collins chose zoo recovery as a priority and adopted a monkey named Max as his mascot. The inspiration for the gin's name, came from there when Collins had decided to create his gin.

Monkey 47's recipe involves harvesting 47 botanicals sourced from the Black Forest, carefully selected and hand-distilled, producing a small-batch gin, bottled and labelled by hand. This gin is a limited edition every time it is produced.
