Clarete Insula Chão de Sal
Description
Clarete Chão de Sal aims to recover an old way of making wine, from a blend of red and white grape varieties found in vineyards over 80 years old, located in the São Mateus area, where they benefit from the climatic conditions of this part of the south coast of the island of Pico. It's a wine with a very expressive aroma of red fruits, hints of citrus fruits and aromatic herbs, very fresh and saline, with a smooth finish.
Insula Vinus is an entrepreneurial venture spanning 3.3 hectares of Insula Atlantis, encompassing vineyards, a winery, accommodations, and tourist activities, all aimed at showcasing the finest products of the Azores. Guided by simplicity, their viticultural practices honor ancestral values, preserving indigenous grape varieties and enhancing the attributes of Azorean wines.
