Barrarrada Central Cellar is located in Anadia, in the heart of Bairrada wine region. Founded in 1924 by José Ferreira Tavares, its main activity was the production of sparkling carbonated wines. Years later, it was acquired by Américo Matos and family, in 1977, being these, the current owners. To the main activity of the production of Sparkling Sparkling Wines, was added the production of Table Wines, Liqueurs, Spirits, Brandies and non-alcoholic drinks.
