This white Quinta do Sobral was made from the Moscatel Galego grape variety and has a light, bright yellow colour. On the nose it is intense and perfumed with floral and sweet notes, where the aromas of honey, pear and sultana nuances stand out. On the palate it is sweet and robust, with a marked acidity that makes it a versatile wine with a long finish.
Quinta do Sobral, a family project by Cristina Simões and Jorge Loureiro, is located in the heart of the Dão Wine Region in Vila de Santar, a historical heritage of the region. Here, the tradition of planting vines in poor granite soils amidst pine forests is maintained, as well as the cultivation of traditional grape varieties that define the wines of this estate, which comprises around 15 hectares of vineyards.
