Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition Beer Barrels

It has always been said that two heads think better than one, and this whisky proves that point. Emerging from a conversation between the head distiller and the brewer at Cork Franciscan Well Brewery, Jameson Caskmates was finished in stout whiskey casks.
While the smoothness of the triple-distillate is very much intact, notes of cocoa, coffee, and caramel confirm the stout influence. Caskmates is a modern Irish whiskey. It reveals crisp orchard fruits like green apples and pears, plus a touch of spice, on the nose. The flavour has a subtle touch of hops and cocoa beans, marzipan, and charred oak. It presents a long, sweet finish with milk chocolate and butter.
