Description

Cynar is an Italian bitter made with 13 herbs and plants, with the artichoke (Cynara Scolymus) predominating, which gave rise to the name. Dark brown in colour, it has a mixed taste of bitter and sweet (bittersweet). Launched in 1995, Cynar is produced and distributed by the Campary Group. It can be drunk neat (usually on the rocks) or mixed in a cocktail. Cynar is also very popular as a digestif.
