Bols is a historic brand of distilled beverages dating back to 1575 when the Bols family opened their first distillery in Amsterdam. Since then, the company has grown significantly and gained notoriety when Lucas Bols was born in 1652. Lucas Bols, a master distiller, created over 300 different liqueurs using a wide variety of spices and fruits brought to Amsterdam by merchants of the time. Bols is therefore a brand with a rich history in the art of distillation, with a legacy that spans more than four centuries.
