Quinta do Vale Meão 10 years Port
Description
Quinta do Vale Meão’s 10-Year-Old Tawny Port boasts an elegant amber colour and an aromatic profile characterised by toasty notes of nuts, coffee and chocolate, enveloped by subtle hints of orange peel resulting from its ageing in wood. On the palate, it is rich and smooth, with well-integrated flavours of ripe fruit, culminating in a long, harmonious and elegant finish.
The Ferreirinha estates are probably the most emblematic of the Douro. Among these, Quinta do Vale Meão is of enormous symbology, as it was a project devised from scratch since the estate was acquired on virgin land.
On its merit, Quinta do Vale Meão is truly one of Portugal's most interesting and coveted wines. A deserved highlight for the quality this wine offers in all the vintages in which it is released. The Quinta also produces a second wine, Meandro do Vale Meão, made from the younger vines.
