Jacquesson is one of the most historic houses in Champagne. Founded more than two centuries ago, it was the birthplace of notable figures, including Johann-Joseph Krug, who left in 1843 to establish his own maison. Despite its long tradition, Jacquesson has become one of the region’s most innovative producers since brothers Laurent and Jean-Hervé Chiquet took over in the 1980s.
They adopted a vineyard-focused philosophy, free from pesticides, and revolutionised the house style by replacing the traditional non-vintage approach with annual single-vintage cuvées, each one numbered to faithfully reflect its base year. This vision allows enthusiasts to continually explore new expressions of Jacquesson, guided by precision, character and creativity.
