Description

Alcambar white is produced from the grape varieties Síria, Fernão Pires, Malvasia, Arinto, Rabo de Ovelha, and Fonte Cal. It presents a citrus colour with greenish tones, a youthful aroma with fresh fruit notes reminiscent of peach and citrus. On the palate, freshness and elegance predominate.

The Adega do Fundão is founded in 1949 by the hands of 30 winegrowers from the Beira Interior region and is located in Cova da Beira, a vine-growing area dating back to the 2nd century and the Roman settlements of that time.

The vineyards are planted along the Serra da Gardunha, which allows the production of grapes that give the wines a richness, freshness and exuberance without equal.
