Description

The Gambozinos Reserva red wine is produced by Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz grape varieties, presents a clear ruby colour, intense aroma, fruity notes, such as black fruit and berry, and a slightly floral, such as woodland flowers. A soft toast also appears derived from the partial aging of the blend for 6 months, enhancing the complex flavour, velvety tannins, freshness, and spicy touch.

Cabanas do Castanheiro is one of the new wine producers in the Douro region, which emerged as a project of the Paterno Dia family, based on the production of high-quality wines. With 17 hectares, we highlight plots such as Quinta dos Gambozinos with old vines, which originate wines of excellent quality, aromatic, concentrated, and deep, vinified in schist wine presses with foot treading and controlled temperatures, combining traditions with modernity.
