Description

Peripécia red monovarietal, 100% Merlot, is a wine that proceeded a 1 year aging in stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels, revealing floral aromas and ripe black fruit. In the mouth it is persistent, marked by notes of black plum, some vegetal.

The Quinta do Cerrado da Porta was acquired by its current owners in 1996. A property that initially had about 3 hectares and was in a very poor state of conservation, is now the family home and wine farm counting with 17 hectares, of which 14 ha are occupied by vineyards.
