For the production of Knockando whisky, only natural ingredients are used such as malted barley, yeast and crystal clear spring water from the Cardnach spring, which is found in the hills above the distillery. Its colour comes exclusively from ageing in the casks, and this use is proportional to the style of whisky so that the aromas of the wood do not overpower those of the distillate. The result is a smooth, fruity single malt whisky, renowned for its Speyside quality.
