Bottled in honor of Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, this is a unique wine, made from a vineyard in Rio Torto mostly planted in the 1940s, traditionally planted as a field blend of more than 30 grape varieties, with a predominance of: Touriga Franca, Rufete, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Nascida, Malvasia Preta, Mourisco, Bastardo, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Bairrada, Tinta da Barca, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Carvalha, Moscatel de Hamburgo, Tinta Pomar, Piriquita, Moreto, Sultanina, S. Saúl, Casculho e Preto Martinho. A very rare wine, only bottled in exceptional years, and in very small quantities (approximately 4000 bottles). Very concentrated aroma, with balsamic oak notes, fig, black plum aromas and tobacco. Full bodied, firm, mature and silky tannins. Mineral notes with a very elegant, persistent and complex finish.
