Originating from clay-limestone soils, surrounded by a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence, this Ninfa Grande Reserva red wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional grape variety. After ageing 24 months in French oak barrels, this is a wine that reflects the typicality of the variety that originates it, with marked fruity aromas, as well as an elegant freshness. In the mouth it reveals balsamic notes, cocoa, and clove, finishing voluminous and intense.

João Teodósio Matos Barbosa, grandson of the founder of Caves Dom Teodósio, started his project in the production of wines, according to a regime of low intervention and organic production, with the introduction of new grape varieties and new blends.

Acquiring properties in the Tejo and Alto Alentejo regions, his legacy has been expanding with organic wines that are authentic and faithful to their terroir.
