A deep-coloured wine with an extraordinary personality, very elegant, persistent and full-bodied. The aroma is characterised by ripe fruit such as black plum and blackberry, combined with hints of spices and cocoa. The palate has notes of black fruit and cocoa, well integrated by the French oak, with round tannins and good volume.

The Quinta de São José de Peramanca is located 5 kilometres from Évora, on Estrada Nacional 114, and is easily identifiable thanks to the large and traditional houses, marked by Baroque architecture and the church of São José adjacent to it.

The property was acquired by the Grave family in 1912, remaining until today, now managed by João Grave, and has 34 hectares, where about 15.5 hectares are, exclusively, oriented to the cultivation of vines for wine production.
