Classic red wine, intense, elegant and rich, which ages in new French oak barrels for an impressive 50 months, followed by bottle ageing for 8 months before being released to the market. It reveals a great aromatic complexity, highlighting the notes of black fruit, wild berries jam, liquorice, tobacco, dark chocolate and spices. In the mouth, it is silky and delicate.
The Quinta da Biaia dated back to the 17th century and belonged to Dona Beatriz de Sousa Lopes.
Located in Beira Interior in Castelo Rodrigo, it has about 29 hectares of vineyard at altitude and is dedicated to the organic production of wines.
