概要
Raul Perez is part of the new generation of winemakers in Spain and his passion for wine goes beyond the wines he produces and the regions he knows, nurturing a special interest in Portugal. With him Niepoort shared opinions, bottles and a common interest in a permanent search. Ultreia is the result of that search, his vision of the Douro as a counterpoint to our vision of the Ribeira Sacra in Ladredo. After a day of looking at vineyards, Raul chose two vineyards in different parts of the Douro, one in the Rio Têdo valley and the other in the Vale de Covas.
