This wine has a pronounced straw colour and on the nose reveals nuances of white-fleshed fruit jelly and exotic fruits. The palate is intense with notes of oats, vanilla, toasted cereal and soft caramel.

Aware of the enormous potential of the lands of Cantanhede for the production of top quality wines, in 1954 a group of 100 farmers founded the Adega Cooperativa de Cantanhede.

Counting today around 700 active member winegrowers and an average annual production of 6 to 7 million kilos of grapes, this Adega is the leading producer in the Bairrada Demarcated Region, representing 30 to 40% of the region's overall production and certifies around 80% of its production, and is the outstanding leader in the sales of DOC Bairrada and IG Beira Atlântico wines.
