Quinta das Mestras Reserva 2016 harvest is obtained from the Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Aragonez grape varieties and is aged in French oak barrels for a period of over 11 months, revealing fruity and fine aromas.

Quinta das Mestras is located in the heart of the Dão, surrounded by a unique terroir. The vineyard is planted on granite and sandy soils and the predominant grape varieties are Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro and Encruzado. The history of this property, which focuses on other productions besides vines and wine, was also for decades the home of the region's teachers - the Mestras, the name that baptises this quinta.
