Montes Colheita Selecionada red is made from a selection of the best grapes from the Lisbon region, including Touriga Nacional, Castelão and Syrah. It has an intense ruby colour, with aromas of red fruits, spices, and balsamic, resulting from the grape varieties and ageing in wood. On the palate, it has a good structure and persistence, with a long and pleasant finish.

The Adega Cooperativa de Alcobaça is a wine company founded in 1956 by a group of small and medium-sized winegrowers from the region. Its creation was motivated by the need to create a structure that would allow producers to sell their wine at a fairer price.

The Adega started with 3000 members, but the number gradually decreased as people left the vineyard. Today, the winery has 382 members and produces a wide variety of wines, including reds, whites, rosés, sparkling and liqueur wines. Its wines are sold throughout the country and also exported to various countries.
