AR is the premium brand of Adega de Redondo created as a tribute to the grape growers of Redondo. This monovarietal red wine is produced from the Touriga Nacional grape variety and has an intense ruby colour with slight violet hues, complex and distinctive aromas of red fruit jam, with notes of tea and spices. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, voluminous and with a long finish, having aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and a further 12 months in the bottle.

Since 1956, Adega Cooperativa de Redondo has been dedicated to Alentejo wines. After 65 years, located in the heart of the Alentejo, it has been modernising and adapting to the new demands of the market. The wines produced come from the grapes of around 200 associated producers, allowing strict quality control and total traceability from the vineyard to the consumer.
