2019 Cartuxa Reserva red

The Cartuxa Reserva 2019 is an iconic Alentejo wine produced from a careful selection of Alicante Bouschet, Aragonez and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes sourced from the oldest vineyards of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. Inspired by the tradition of the Carthusian monks of Évora, it reveals depth, elegance and remarkable ageing potential. Aged in new French oak barrels and further matured in bottle, it presents a complex and structured profile where ripe fruit, spice and the sophistication of oak come together in a long and harmonious finish.

The Cartuxa brand is the principal activity of the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation and the “umbrella” brand of the Cartuxa Winery. The logo identifies wines such as Vinea, EA, Foral de Évora, Cartuxa, Scala Coeli and the legendary Pêra-Manca. Excellence, quality and individuality in a style of its own, is what marks the difference and defines a classic Alentejo.
