The Von Hövel Scharzhofberger Riesling Spätlese is a white wine with intense aromas of grapefruit and a variety of herbs, typical of the area where the vineyard is planted. On the palate, it reveals a strong mineral character and a beautiful acidity, in harmony with a long and persistent finish.
Von Hövel is a traditional winery in Saar, led by Max von Kunow in the 7th generation.
Responsible for producing classic and authentic wines, its history dates back to 1803 when the first Riesling vineyards emerged. Currently, it encompasses 21.5 hectares and based on its tradition, strives to produce individual and unmistakable wines that reflect the unique character of the soils from which they originate.
