概要

Plaisirs red wine results from hot maceration processes for the Carignan and Syrah varieties and traditional cold maceration for Grenache and Cinsault, presenting itself young, fresh with notes of garrigue and spice.

Since 1734, Domaine Monplézy occupies an extremely privileged position on the Pézenas terroir in the Languedoc-Rousillon region, now a NATURA 2000 zone and which recently, became a member of the League for the Protection of Birds. The 30-hectare property has been in the Germa-Gil family for four generations and is currently run by the younger members Anne, Christian, Benoit, and Margot. Anne and Christian built their winery in 2000, now converted to organic farming. Benoit, who worked on a very famous biodynamic estate in California, then in Argentina and Provence, is now also dedicated to the business, with the help of his younger sister Margot, an expert in all the jobs that a winery requires. Together, they allow the continuity of a family business dedicated more and more to the production of organic wines.
