概要

Meerlust red is the result of a wine made only in quality vintage years and is produced from the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grape varieties. After aging in French oak barrels for 17 months it has a profile of intense fresh red fruit combined with floral and spicy notes. On the palate it is medium-bodied with a soft and silky texture, making its consumption quite pleasant.

Meerlust Estate is located in Stellenbosch, a premium quality wine-growing area of the Coastal region of the Western Cape of South Africa. A family-owned business that began its journey into the wine world in 1756, it is currently led by the 8th generation of the Myburgh family, and is also renowned, worldwide, for the quality of its wines.
