Produced from Alicante Bouschet, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, after ageing 18 months in new French oak barrels, presents deep aromas of ripe red and black fruit, spices, and a slight vegetal touch. In the mouth, it is enveloping, with a velvety texture punctuated by tannins and a well-measured acidity. It finishes with a perception of very well-integrated wood, long, sophisticated and elegant.

Situated in the center of the city of Estremoz, the Quinta stands out for its beauty and its history, with a palatial building of 18th century architecture, beautiful gardens, groves, bougainvillea, tanks and other works of art from the 18th century, and currently, also for its excellent wines.

The Quinta was for many years in the possession of the Zagalo family, who used it as a holiday home, but unfortunately in 1974, with the revolution of the 25th of April, the house and farm were invaded and abandoned.

In 1979 the property was bought by Miguel Louro, who is still the owner today, starting wine production in the 1980s.
